How
to add blank between joined tracks?
By default, MP3 Joiner merges all tracks
directly and they just play one right after another with no blank space
between. If you want to add blank between joined tracks, you need to have a blank MP3 file, for example, 5 seconds blank MP3 file, and then add it right after the MP3 file you are going to merge in the merge list box.
If you don't have a blank MP3 file, you can use a recorder to make it. Please download a free trial version of
Audio Recorder Pro from our download
center, and make the blank MP3 file as you need (please use the same MP3 encoding parameters when recording,
e.g. sample rate, bit rate, channel, etc.).

Sometimes
when I listen to the merged MP3 file, I hear a short noise at the point
where the MP3 files are joined, how to resolve it?
This problem is caused by the inconsistent data in your source MP3
files you are joined. To resolve this, you may need to re-encoding them
before merge.
You can download a free trial of "MP3
Audio Converter" from our download center
and it can help you to re-encoding them to fix the inconsistent data
- just load the MP3 files in MP3 Audio Converter and select MP3 as output
format. If you want to keep the similar file size after converted, please
set the same encoding parameters as the originals (e.g. sample rate, bit
rate, Stereo/Mono).

What is CUE
file?
CUE file is a simple plaintext file that contains track
information of one specific MP3, such as the title, performer, time
position of each tracks, here is a sample of CUE file:
|
PERFORMER "MP3 Performer"
TITLE "MP3 title"
FILE "MP3 file name" WAVE
TRACK 01 AUDIO
TITLE "Title of Track 1"
PERFORMER "Performer of Track 1"
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO
TITLE "Title of Track 2"
PERFORMER "Performer of Track 2"
INDEX 01 01:23:76
TRACK 02 AUDIO
... |
MP3 Splitter is able to import the track
information (title, performer and time) and automatically insert all
tracks in the split list from a CUE file, therefore, you don't have to manually
add the track information for splitting.

Why MP3 splitter
& Joiner says that the file was already in use and asks if I would like to abort when I start to split
or join mp3?
The message indicates that at least one of the files you want to generate has been locked either by
a application or by operation system. Most possible, the file was locked by your Windows
Explorer if you selects a MP3 file in the explorer. (please
refer screenshot).
Therefore, you can either close the explorer or just
click another directory to unlock the MP3 file.
The MP3 file will be locked once it is loaded by MP3 splitter.
Sometimes, you will get the same message if you want to join MP3
files to overwrite a MP3 file in MP3 Joiner which was just loaded
by MP3 Splitter. In this case, you can load another MP3 file to
unlock that MP3 file.
